The Experience

At Deer Creek Lodge, numbers are measured in boxes of shells, not birds. We provide high-quality, high-volume bird hunting in a private, picturesque setting. With multiple types of wingshooting hunts, be it upland hunting, duck hunting, turkey hunting, phesant hunting and more. Perfect for the seasoned hunter, first timer, and everyone in between, this kind of action is what memories are made of.

Not interested in hunting? No problem! Join us as a non-hunting guest at the lodge and get ready to relax, get in touch with nature, and be served by southern hospitality.

We are not hunters but were in Kentucky for a family reunion. Since it was off season for hunting we were able to spend three nights at the Lakeside Lodge. It was warm, welcoming and beautifully decorated. The scenery is breathtaking from the forest and rolling hills to the lake and fields of tall grass and grain. The staff's informative and friendly attitude made the stay very enjoyable.

This is my third year coming to Deer creek lodge with my father to hunt upland birds. There are a couples things that Deer creek does that puts them in a class above the rest. First, the staff and owners make you feel like part of the family. Their attention to detail and asking for feedback deliveries high customer service. Next, the main focus for us is the beautiful fields, great shooting and loving care for the dogs. This passion and love can't be faked. This is always be a generation family tradition for my father, myself and my children to come.

I have hunted numerous quail/pheasant operations throughout the last 20 years...this place take the cake! From the accommodations, to the food, to the hunting itself, nothing is left to be desired. This was my first trip, but I am certain that it will not be my last. Deer Creek Lodge sets the bar for Quail and Pheasant Hunting. The guides are professional and enthusiastic, the dogs are amazing and the birds fly better than most I've ever seen.

Over the top! You can't find a better quality or more welcoming group of people. From the accommodations to the hunt. World class hunt with world class dogs. Some of the best meals you could ask for. Ate so much I had a hard time shooting all the birds. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
