When it comes to Deer Creek Lodge and Eastern wild turkeys, 90 is the magic number. That’s right, guided guests here enjoy a consistent 90% opportunity rate on mature birds, season after season, making our turkey program ideal for longtime hunters and beginners alike. In fact, when turkeys were reintroduced in Webster County, Kentucky, our property was the original release site. It remains ground zero to this day, largely because of well-maintained habitat like:

Turkey-specific nesting areas of warm-season grasses are left fallow each spring
Food plots of chufa, corn, milo, clover and alfalfa provide year-round nutrition
Plentiful white oak acorns and other natural food sources

With limits on wild birds virtually guaranteed, our wingshooting lodge and amenities make for a truly unforgettable turkey hunt.

All packages are priced per person. Maximum of 4 people permitted per hunt.

Each package includes:

3 mornings of guided hunts
Fair chase opportunities to harvest 2 birds
90% opportunities at mature birds
Guide (one guide per hunter)
Dressing and vacuum-packing of birds
3 night’s private lodging
Late afternoon arrival
Gourmet dinner at the lodge on arrival day
3 meals per day at the lodge on days 2 and 3

Reservation & Cancellation Policy

Lodge exclusivity is available for large groups; contact us for details. Each package is designed for check-in and check-out at certain times.

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to confirm your reservation. The balance is due upon departure. Should you find it necessary to change your reservation more than 60 days before your hunt, we will gladly apply your deposit to another available date within the same season, or you may have someone participate in your place. TRIP INSURANCE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We accept all major credit cards, with a 3% processing fee. In addition, we accept payment in the form of ACH bank transactions. Payment can be submitted via a secure link sent to you during the booking process or over the phone with our office.
